PREP LIBRARY TRANSFORMED FOR READATHON!

There was great excitement at the Prep School assembly yesterday as we officially launched our Readathon! Supporting our theme for the term, “Growth”, the Readathon theme this year is “Growth Mindset.”

The teachers performed a play about ‘The Rainbow Fish’ that had to grow and learn that sharing makes everyone happy and creates a feeling of love amongst all.

Ms Moritz used the example of the famous ‘Tortoise and Hare’ race, reminding the girls that even though something may seem impossible, we can achieve anything by not giving up and trying our best.

Furthermore, our library has been transformed into a magical and colourful floral wonderland, and girls are encouraged to not only visit the library but also to participate in our Readathon book exchange.

Books can be dropped off in the library until Friday, 3 August, and these will be donated to schools in need.
