Celebrating the Power of Young Women in Sport! 🌟

Our 1st team water polo players have made us proud once again by clinching the title at the Brian Baker Water Polo Tournament for the second consecutive year! Their hard-fought 6-4 victory against Reddam House Bedfordview in the final at Kingswood College is a testament to their dedication and teamwork.

In an intense match, our team held a narrow 5-4 lead at halftime, but their relentless spirit shone through, allowing them to extend their advantage in the second half and secure a well-deserved win. This achievement not only showcases their exceptional skills, but also reflects the commitment of our Sports Department to fostering excellence in young women athletes.

The tournament highlighted the incredible talent surrounding us, with teams like Roedean School and Kingswood College showcasing the growing competitive landscape in school water polo across South Africa. It’s inspiring to witness the increasing popularity and development of this sport for girls, proving that there are no limits to what we can achieve.

As we celebrate this success, let it serve as a powerful reminder to all our young athletes: hard work, dedication, and a strong sense of team spirit can lead to remarkable accomplishments.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, families, and supporters who played a vital role in this achievement!

Let’s continue to uplift and empower each other in our sports journeys. Together, we can pave the way for future generations of young women in sports.
