Class of 2019 Matric Results

Our Class of 2019’s National Senior Certificate results were released at 12:00 today, and there was laughter and celebration all around as parents, girls and staff shared their delight in the phenomenal results. New Head, Heather Goedeke, congratulated the girls on their successes and thanked all the staff who have played a role in preparing the girls for the Final Examinations.

2019 Dux Kitty Fisher (94%), who was unable to personally collect her results as she is working in the UK, heard the good news via a phone call from her mom. “I am absolutely delighted and speechless. Enormous thanks must go to Herschel and all my teachers, all of my friends and of course my family for all the opportunities they have given me and for being my constant support system. I love the fact that I have been able to enjoy music, sport and academics all at the same time throughout my time at Herschel, and am so privileged to have been given a top class education.”

Herschel salutes the Class of 2019 and congratulate them on this outstanding record of results! We have no doubt that the excellence demonstrated here will stand these young women in good stead for their futures, wherever it leads them, as proud, confident, socially aware Old Herschelians.
