SENSATIONAL SWIMMING

The Swim SA Senior Nationals and Youth Nationals took place in Durban last week, with 10 Herschel girls taking part and doing exceptionally well!

Lucy Miszewski (Grade 11), Georgia Nel (Grade 11), Hannah Cromhout (Grade 9), Olivia Nel (Grade 11), Hannah Pearce (Grade 10), Michaela de Villiers (Grade 10), Reese O’ Riordan (Grade 8), Louisa Siebel (Grade 10) and Hanim Abrahams (Grade 11) all swam in the Junior and Senior Nationals, producing amongst them some exceptional results, personal bests and medals all round. Kerryn Benade (Grade 8) swam in the Level 3 category.

In addition, Olivia achieved three Junior World qualifying times in the 100m Back, 100m Free and 50m Free; Hannah qualified for Junior World champs in the 200m Back; Michaela qualified in the 100m Back for Junior World champs and Hanim qualified in the 100m Breastroke.
