Last week our Herschel Prep A squad swimmers were invited to swim in a Gala at the opening of the Reddam House Somerset West Aquatic Centre. It was an exciting event as the winners of the events were presented with certificates from Ryk Neethling!
The girls competed in Freestyle and Medley Relays from U7 – U14 and our girls swam exceptionally well and placed as follows in the 2 events in their age groups:
U7s (3rd); U8s (2nd); U9s (1st); U10s (1st); U11s (2nd); U13s (2nd) and U12s (2nd Freestyle Relay, 1st in Medley Relay).
It was great for our swimmers to be back in the pool after the drought and we are very proud of them!
