Join us at the annual Shakespeare Schools Festival

A highlight of the Herschel cultural calendar is the annual Shakespeare Schools Festival, which is performed by the Grade 10 Drama students. The girls are invited to perform on the Baxter Theatre stage and to work under professional conditions.

This year, Herschel’s newly founded Grade 10 Herschel Drama Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Shakespeare (aka HDSPCS) will be creating a collage of scenes to honour the Bard and will be performing these on the evening of 7 May at 19h00. These include musical and comedic extracts from various thespian greats such as Stephen Fry, Rowan Atkinson, Hugh Laurie and Monty Python, to name but a few.

We would love you to join us in the merriment. Tickets are R70 and may be purchased from webtickets.
