Herschel girls shine at Buffalo Regatta

Kate Halle, Fiona Murphy and Tahlia Roussouw (all Grade 10) have done Herschel proud at the Buffalo Regatta this past weekend in East London. Peninsula Girls Rowing Club was the only representation by girls from the Western Cape.

It was a seriously tough competition with heats on Thursday, sprints on Friday and finals on Saturday. Despite Kate Halle injuring herself on Thursday, they never gave up.

Their perseverance paid off as the U16 girls coxed fours made it to the final AND placed third. A MASSIVE achievement… they have done their schools, club and province proud.
