August is Women’s Month and we celebrate the influence, passion, achievement and contributions of women to the advancement of South African society. In this, our Centenary year, we would like to empower, equip, inspire and introduce our current students to the myriad areas of industry, academe, public and private sector involvement, NPOs, NGOs and entrepreneurship in which many women have, and continue, to contribute.
We would love to invite you to Herschel to share your journeys, life lessons, wisdom, successes, failures, challenges, and authentic selves with our current students in a workshop-style morning, culminating in refreshments. The power and impact of the relationship, shared experiences and connection knows no bounds and in terms of fostering a more cohesive Herschel community, we hope that this will be the start of an ongoing annual shared experience.
When: Friday 12 August 2022
Where: Herschel Senior School Campus
How: 3 sessions (from 10:00 – 12:25) with different students on rotation.
How will it work?
You will present your workshop/presentation three times with a different group of pupils each time (pupils will be signing up for sessions that interest them and which they would like to learn more about).

Session 1: 10h00 – 10h45
Session 2: 10h50 – 11h35
Session 3: 11h40 – 12h25
What we will provide:
A venue
IT resources
Light lunch and refreshments after the sessions
Presenters are also welcome to join us for a wellness segment 12h45 – 13h30.
